ISLARIO is a meditation on the experience of snow. It explores the connection between the colour white and silence in landscape. This project was developed at La chambre blanche in Quebec City in the winter of 2001 as a part of the artists in residency exchange between FONCA and CALQ. Islario was originally created as a photo-video installation, and has an interactive web project component developed at La chambre blanche’s web lab in 2002.
